After periods as an International Chemical Engineer and Director of some of the UK’s major Transport Operators, joined the Chamber as CEO in 1993.

 

Current roles include: Chair of the Lancashire Manufacturing Group, the Pennine Lancashire Employment & Skills Board, and the NW Regional Leaders’ Board’s Social, Economic & Environmental Partners. Acting Chair of the NW Manufacturing Forum. Board member of the Lancashire Local Enterprise Partnership. Member of the NW Energy Task Force and BIS NW Unconventional Oil and Gas Working Group.

 

Awarded the MBE for ‘Services to Business in the North West in 2008
